How do I purchase an item or several items at Basanti Kapde Aur Koffee online?

Online shopping is quite an easy procedure. Start by choosing your items, add them to your shopping bag and proceed to checkout. An email and a WhatsApp message will be sent to your email address and phone number to verify that you have purchased a product from Basanti.

Do I need to register in order to place an order?

We recommend that all our customers register with us to get the best service and offers available. However, you can also checkout as a guest. Being a registered user, one can avail several benefits that are favorable:

1. Updates on what is the latest in store.

2. Save your address and view order status.

3. Make and manage your returns and exchanges from your account (Only for Indian orders).

4. Save shipping details.

5. Get special promotional codes/reward points.

6. Get 10% off on your first order (T&C apply).

How do I opt out of marketing?

You can opt out of email marketing by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails. For any other marketing communication, please write to us at care@basantikekapde.com.

What size should I order?

The size chart available on each product page will solve your sizing queries. Please refer to the bust, waist, and hip measurements to select your size. However, sizes may vary across silhouettes. If you have detailed questions about the sizing of a particular product, you can contact us at care@basantikekapde.com and our personal shopper will assist you.

Can I return my outfit to a Basanti store instead of shipping it back?

All orders are to be shipped back to our Naraina office. The online team will get back to you in case you are eligible for a return. The store team will not be able to accept the orders without prior information and will not be able to assist in case of returns or exchanges.

Does the size chart show body or garment measurements?

The size chart reflects garment measurements. You can refer to the chart on the product page or reach out to us in case of any confusion.

My payment is declining

- There can be an issue with your bank. In this case, please reach out to the bank or credit card company.

- Or there can be a glitch on the website. In this case, we will share a Razorpay/PayPal link. You can make the payment through the link and share the screenshot with us. We will create a manual order once payment is received, and a confirmation email and WhatsApp message will be sent to your registered contact.

Do you offer alterations?

Alterations can be done at an additional charge. We can accommodate minor alterations like changing the length of the lehenga or removing can-can. Please email us the required alterations and the team will assist you.

Can I get the blouse style customized?

We do not offer style customizations. However, net sleeves can be added to some sleeveless blouses at an additional charge.

Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?

Unfortunately, we do not have a cancellation policy. However, if the order hasn’t been dispatched yet, the amount will be issued as store credits, redeemable within one year from the issue date. Please share your feedback/reason for cancellation. Refer to the cancellation policy for more details.

Can I redeem store credits at the stores?

Store credits can be availed only on online purchases within one year from the date of issue.

BKK10 is not working for me

Refer to the conditions below:

  • The code is exclusively valid for first-time shoppers on Basanti Kapde Aur Koffee.
  • The discount can be availed only for prepaid orders, and the user must be logged in before applying the code.
  • Applicable on all collections except new launches.
  • The offer is not applicable on discounted products.
  • Valid only once per user. If items purchased with the coupon are returned, the discount will be adjusted accordingly from the return credit.
  • This welcome coupon code cannot be combined with any other offers.

I need help deciding what to buy. Can I speak to a stylist?

How do I know if my order has been placed?

You’ll receive an order confirmation email and a WhatsApp message once your order is successfully placed.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, we will share the tracking number/AWB via email. You can track your item from processing to final delivery.

Are the colors of products shown on the website accurate?

We strive to represent product colors accurately, but we cannot guarantee an exact match due to screen differences. Hand-embroidered items may also vary slightly in shade.

My size is out of stock, can I place an order for another size?

Yes, please email us your required size and we will check the availability for you.

Will customs duties be charged?

For Indian Customers: Product prices are inclusive of all taxes and duties.

For International Customers: Product prices are exclusive of all import duties. As the recipient, you are liable to pay import duties, customs, and local taxes, which must be paid at the time of delivery to release your order from customs.

Can I add items to an existing order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order. You will need to cancel the previous order(s) and place a new one with all the desired items.
